IOSCO Investment Funds Statistics Dashboard
Introducing the new IOSCO Investment Funds Statistics Dashboard which represents a significant step forward in the analysis and transparency of global investment funds data. As the first publicly available dashboard to aggregate both public and private investment funds data, it provides a comprehensive view of the industry, offering detailed insights into individual jurisdictions and regions.
Leverage figures, calculated in accordance with IOSCO's 2019 recommendations, are aggregated at the fund level, ensuring improved comparability and transparency of investment funds' leverage and exposures. Additionally, the dashboard has driven enhanced data quality, as jurisdictions have rigorously evaluated and improved their data submissions, resulting in more accurate and reliable information. This has also facilitated better data disclosure, allowing jurisdictions to identify and address errors more effectively.
Building on the foundation of the Investment Funds Statistics Survey and Report, the dashboard offers a complementary, more granular perspective, enabling a deeper understanding of the investment funds landscape across specific jurisdictions and regions.
The dashboard is updated annually, “aligning with FSB’s recommendations” (recommendation 12), while reducing the reporting burden and enabling the Investment Funds Statistics Report to be published every two years.
