20th Anniversary of the IOSCO MMoU
What Signatories say about the impact of the MMoU (written remarks and videos)
Signatories to the MMoU have been using this instrument to exchange information with each other in respect of the investigations of insider dealing, market manipulation, misrepresentation of material information and other forms of securities violations. In addition, securities regulators had provided assistance to each other in investigations involving new products such as crypto-assets. Many of these securities regulators say that the MMoU has helped them to carry out successful enforcement actions where jurisdictional boundaries would have ordinarily prevented them from succeeding.
